About Logic Pro Files
Who we are
Logic Pro Files is written and maintained by the Logic Pro Files Team, a small editorial team that uses Logic Pro and keeps up with Apple's documentation. We publish under the team name rather than individual bylines. The site is independent: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple Inc. or any other software vendor.
What we check
Every page that states a price, requirement, version or feature is checked against primary sources before publication: Apple's product pages, Apple release notes, Apple Support articles and the Logic Pro User Guide, plus official vendor pages for other DAWs such as Ableton and Image-Line. Where we rely on reporting from a reputable publication, we name it and link to it. We do not claim to have run personal tests or benchmarks, and we say so when a fact could not be verified.
How dates are shown
Each page carries a Last checked date. It is the day the facts on that page were last compared with their sources, not the day the page was first written. When Apple or a vendor changes a price or requirement, we update the page and the date.
Corrections
If you find an error, email [email protected] with the page URL and the source that shows the correct information. Our editorial policy describes how corrections are handled.
No affiliate links or sponsorships
Logic Pro Files contains no affiliate links and accepts no sponsorships. Links to Apple, Ableton, Image-Line and other vendors are plain links; we earn nothing if you buy.
Trademarks
Apple, Logic Pro, GarageBand, Mac, iPad and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. Other product names are trademarks of their respective owners. Logic Pro Files is not affiliated with Apple Inc.
